Dr. Vijay kumar has a doctoral degree in Medical Biochemistry and extensive experience in leading major research and development initiatives in the areas of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, cell signaling, cell therapy and regenerative medicine from prestigious institutes (UConn Medical School and Harvard Medical School) as well as biotechnology companies (Sulzer Medica, Gambro-BCT, Thermogenesis & SynGen). Dr. Kumar has authored more than 55 scientific publications and is an inventor of issued U.S. issued patents. Currently Dr. Kumar is working for TerumoBCT and is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at California State University, Sacramento.
