As a physician and founder, Dr. Lee has started multiple companies including Integrative Sports and Spine and Integrative Physiatry. Integrative Sports and Spine is a multi-state group of 32 physiatrists and interventional pain management physicians, and Integrative Physiatry is a post-acute Physiatry company which extends coast to coast and serves over 100 rehab hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. He has also negotiated capitated contracts of over 50,000 lives and started pain management clinics across Northern and Southern California.
Dr. Lee has published multiple articles on musculoskeletal medicine and stem cell therapy. Dr. Lee has served as faculty for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and has taught nationally for their interventional techniques and regenerative medicine courses. He has given talks internationally and was the keynote speaker on current trends of stroke rehabilitation at the 7th Annual EMRC Academic Seminar in Seoul, South Korea.
Dr. Lee graduated from Macalester College with a double major in Art History and Biology and received a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Western Illinois University. Dr. Lee completed his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He graduated residency from Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), and completed his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.
As a double board-certified PM&R and interventional pain medicine physician, he provides a full spectrum of medical care from outpatient musculoskeletal, regenerative, and pain medicine to inpatient rehabilitation.
