Gail McGlothlen, DNP, RN-BC has specialized in cancer and chronic pain management for over twenty years, managed patients with TDD for fourteen years, and continues to be Board Certified in Pain Management by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2006. After she received a Masters Degree in Advanced Nursing Practice-Oncology from the University of California, San Francisco in 2001 Gail joined Dr. Grigsby at Napa Pain Institute where, in addition to managing patients with IDDSs, she conducted clinical research, provided clinical practice education nationally, and co-authored several published case reports.
In 2016, Dr. McGlothlen graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and is Adjunct Faculty at Texas Christian University, Harris College of Nursing in Fort Worth, Texas. In December of 2016 the manuscript of the results of her doctoral research on the training of the health care professional for the intraspinal drug delivery system’s reservoir refill procedure was accepted for publication in Neuromodulation.
