Eric Lee, MD graduated from Yale University and completed his medical school training at Boston University earning both his MD and MA. He then went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University Langone Medical Center at the prestigious Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, and his Pain Medicine Fellowship at New York University. Dr. Lee is Double Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He has experience with patients who have numerous sports injuries, and as a former athlete, he understands the importance of returning his patients to maximum functional capacity.
Dr. Lee has presented at many conferences both nationally and internationally, on a wide variety of pain medicine topics. He is involved in cutting edge research and new techniques to improve pain treatment and is involved in several clinical trials.
His professional interests include pain diagnosis and treatment, muscle and joint pain, with a special interest in advanced interventional techniques and minimally invasive spinal procedures. He has helped advance the field in radiofrequency ablation and regenerative therapies such as Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP).
Dr. Lee was voted to America’s Top Doctors – Pain Management for 2014 and elected Director-at-Large for the New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (NYSIPP) making him the youngest ever to achieve such a title. He also serves on the Education as well as the Scientific Oversight Committees for the International Neuromodulation Society (INS).
