Director, Oncology Pain Management, Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Sanjeet Narang, MD is a cancer pain management leader at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, directing clinics at two locations, and he teaches anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School. President of the Cancer Pain Research Consortium, he has developed new techniques for pain management in cancer patients, including the implantation of pain pumps in alternative sites.
Dr. Narang earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India. He completed residencies at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, and was a resident and fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is board certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and hospice and palliative medicine.
